Great Resource for Caregivers and Families

I came across this site, www.thecaringspace.com
It's a great resource for caregivers and families in need of assistance and health services for a loved one.
Caregivers can register for free. This site helps you create a professional, online profile. You also get unlimited access to a network of available positions, an optional and affordable background check service, as well as helpful resources and downloads. Completing the online profile also means that your profile will be available to be sought out by families in need of your services.

Families seeking caregivers can also register for free right now. They get unlimited access to an entire network of caregivers, optional promotion of their position to interested caregivers, free conference call service, as well as helpful resources and downloads!

The site's online caregiving community is rapidly expanding so it's really a good place if you're looking for some assistance in your caregiving journey. Good luck to everyone!

Are Baby Boomers up for the emotional and physical challenge of caring for Aging Parents?

We are interested in personal stories of baby boomer's who have successfully been able to rise to the challenge of caring for their aging parents. In our work we continue to find the children of aging parents very ill prepared to care for the needs of their aging parents. Unfortunately, we see family members attempt to come together to provide for their aging parent and encounter great resistance from not the elder but the children. " The wonderful American dysfunctional Family!. Please post what you are seeing.
